Is this an acceptable audio system?

thing is i don't know if i need the sub, i listen to alot of stuff. house to pop to metal. if $700 can get me an average setup, i sure as hell wouldn't mind.

$700 bucks gets you a solid 4ch amp to run nice set of comps and a single 12"

Nice beginner system that you can expand if you desire to in the future

Something like a Kicker kx800.4 come to mind to give you nice power- 100x 2 to comps , 400rms to a single sub(need extra boom? port it)

that sounds good to me.

bridge 2 channels to a 12, other two channels single over to each speaker. or get a viper 550.6 at ikesound if they still have them.

75x4 for all the speakers.

250x1@4 (i think) for the sub

i got mine for 145 at ikesound a couple of weeks ago. then just get a RE12, and some components. youd be WAY less than $700 even with a HU i think.
