Is this amp toast?

Long story short, friend borrowed an alpine 4ch amp of mine (MRP-F250).

He swapped the pos/neg when installing it.....Pop.....

The amp has two 30 amp fuses, both were blown. Think its alive?

I dont wanna test it unless there is a chance it'll still work.

...replace the fuses and give it a go. My money would be on it being fine.

alrighty, i just wanted to see if anyone would chime in on issues of this hah. I've never swapped a pos/neg, so i really dont know what it does internally.

it should be fine. the fuses did what they are supposed to do...

thats 1 reason why the fuses are there so you may be fine as long as the fused snaped right off the bat. if they didnt pop right away, then the power supply could be done.

i'de have to ask my friend. It doesnt smell burnt though.
