Is this a good package?

is visonik a bad all around name? How about something like Dual?
Never used it either, but I wouldnt use my money for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

I just don't understand people sometimes. Why not buy a used piece that will last longer than some cheap *** new one. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

thats a big upgrade from the visonik
While I won't argue that the above is a decent package but it is also $150 more than what he was looking at spending on the Visonik gear. He's stated he's short on cash at the momen......how short are you? Is $250 all you have to spend or could you possibly squeeze the piggy bank just a tad bit harder? If you could it would be of greeaaat help for suggestions. Or...

For less than $254/shipped...

Sub

Amp

You'd just need a box and wiring.

Visonik isn't that bad at all. Their absolute bottom of the line subs **** outright but everything else actually works well. The setup in the deal is a pair of their bottom of the line subs with a very small 300 watt RMS amp and a very poorly designed band bass enclosure, I would avoid this and save up a little more money for a more powerful setup, it will cost more now but you will save money in the long run by not needing to upgrade.

Dual is a very low budget brand like Pyramid/Mobile Authority/Legacy and will give limited performance, some members here have reported decent results using Dual equipment I personally would go with Visonik over Dual though.

To get a good set up for cheap start by shopping around for a 500 watt+ RMS subwoofer amp something that can handle a 2ohm mono load or lower, this will give you a greater selection of subwoofers that you can use with the amp.

Now look for a sub or a pair of subs that will work well with the amplifier and most importantly fit in your car.

For the subwoofer enclosure and the wiring accessory's come here, there is alot of members here that would be more then happy to help you choose or build a box for your subs and there are several other members that specialize in wiring accessory's for excellent prices like johnecon2001 for example.
