Is this a good deal?

Alright I'd like to start off by saying I'm new here and have no experience in car audio equipment at all, but I have recently been researching sub woofers and the like. I was talking to this guy I work with and he said he would sell me 2 12" Solo-Baric Kickers for $200. I'm just wondering if this is a good deal because I don't want to get ripped off. The system would be going in an audi a4. I am also wondering what amp i should get as he is only selling me the subs.

Are they round solos, L5's, or L7's?

Are they D2 or D4? That would help in picking out an amp.

I have no idea what specific model they are but he did say they were $190 a piece originally. I'm going to check them out tonight though so I'll post back up here once I know for sure.

see what color the cone is, and that will tell us...

I'm pretty sure they are the l7's because I just remembered that he told me that the peak power for each is 1500 W. I would also be getting whatever box he had them in and free installation. So knowing they are the Kicker Solo-Baric 12" L7's what type of amplifier would you all reccomend. He said something about a sony xplod amp for $150 or something, just wanted some more input on whether or not I should jump on these.

ok, if we have determined they ARE L7's, look on the back of the magnet, are they DVC 2 or DVC 4?
