Is this a good deal? Two BNIB JL Audio 10w7's for $500

^^Hey that number is from Antioch, California.Which is about 20 mins from me.

I called that number to see if that guy would show me those subs, but it rings once then goes to voice mail.

I think its a scam.

I don't know.. I don't think so.. I have talked to the guy like three times now, and have I offered to pay for the subs already once before but have not agreed on cost of shipping. So far that is the only hold up. Normally if this were a scam, he would have agreed to take my money already regardless of shipping costs.

I don't know. Maybe it's not worth all the hassle.

Buying items on CL and having them shipped is a big no no... Many many people have been scammed before by people and it's almost impossible to track them down afterwards. That's why CL advises not to do it.

why would you buy those when you can get a pair of 18" Audioque's for the same price...

Yes because 18" AQ's fit everyone's needs and wants, right? The guy is asking about a pair of SQ/SQL 10's and you suggest SPL oriented 18's. At least you suggested speakers though, I guess.
