I got an opportunity to trade for 2 15" massive audio dmx's

I'm just wondering I'd these are actually dmx's and if there worth trading 2 in a box for a t10001bd and a mtx 81000d?

unless im mistaken the cone on the dmx is all CF see if you can get him to get you a pic of the motor.

Yeah from what Ive seen they were all cf but I'll ask for a pic of the motor tomorrow. It may be a older model of the dmx perhaps?

this is what the motor should look like if they are dmx

it could be a recone as well, but seeing the cone of a sub means nothing for the most part. the motor is what matters.

actually last I remember the massive company changed the cone of the dmx, that is one reason i sold my 4 15s on here a long while back.

ive never actually seen one of massives cones in person, so i cant say much on them, but the motor will tell the story.

its 3cuft.... before displacement, its a bit small but it fking rumbles...lol

by the looks of it OP its not a DMX15 even if it had been reconed you'd still have the grey surround which attaches to the basket (i know b/c i have a fresh recone kit here myself, the new one with the aluminium dust cap)... & the surrounds are matching.

it could still be a dmx, recones can be eaisly had from many places. mine looks like any other 15 that psi has used. that said i dout they are dmx.

really dont think they are dmx, possibly an early version of them, but not sure.

the basket looks a lot like the dmx but the motor isnt right.
