Is this a band pass?

It's not really a port, it's more like an extension since the sub is encased about 5" beneath the face of the box. So is this a band pass?

Yes. Its a 4th order. Half of the sub (cone side) is in a sealed chamber, the back half of the sub (magnet) is in a ported section.

The speaker is 4 ohm svc 250 RMS infinity and the box is 15" deep and 20" long by 11.5 wide. The wood is 3/4 mdf. The port is 1.5" X 10" X 5.75 above the roof of the speaker mount. The sub is is also that deep.

Does this look like a decent design? I still have to get the glass tightened over the sub. Which should be tonight.

It hits low but very little output - it is only 250 RMS and I still have to get that glass on - I hope it gets louder after doing this

Yeah these things **** - I bought them for cheap - I have 2 of them - tuned to who knows what - I can get some bass to sound really good but it's not a common frequency cause the music sounds like crap - not enough port - maybe I can deal it and put a tube or something in there
