Is there such thing as DVI-VGA cable?

You will not be able to convert... there is 3 different DVI's. Dvi-d (digital) Dvi-a (analog) and Dvi-I (interlace, both digi, and analog) 99% of DVI is DVI-D. Vga,Svga and XGA are all analog (1024x768 is the highest they can go as far as definition. What you can buy is a software converter. which is basicly an analog to digital converter(100bux +) hope that helps any other Q's just ask.

Yeah I noticed that when it is a DVI Analog, it got a few missing spikes in the middle in the plug..u kw.. I m assuming it is a method to match up with analog images..

I sure as hell am not going to buy the software converter.. I m positive that if I use the PC input properly, it will show up fine on the tv.. I am fine with 1024x768 resolution..

But my question is that which is going to be a better picture or is there even a difference between using the adapter and run the M/M VGA cable or just use the DVI-VGA cable?

First, what is the native resolution of the TV? I can honestly tell you, that the DVI/HDMI conversion is going to yeild much better results Most digital graphics cards will have software that will allow you to streatch the screen until it fits the TV

why not just get a little adapter that you put on the end of you current computer cord? thats what i use for my video card on my computer. plus then no ugly beige.
thats what i m going to do.. I found black cable as well..

just that it costs 3 dollars more lmao.. but I guess i ll get the dvi/vga cable since it is the easiest method..
