To revive an old/closed thread? I'm pretty sure a mod would be able to do this.

I really think the 'Socal what's for sale' thread should be re-opened. Shouldn't the grandfather rule apply to it? Therefore, it isn't breaking any rules now.

Why would we open, or allow, a f/s thread in a non-fs section, that violates virtually all of the f/s rules? Dont get mad at the mods for trying to look out for the best interests of the members here and avoid scammers.

i understand, just a curious question. that thread just made everything for socal people easier.

how about making sub sections in the classifieds for people that want to do only local deals with items?

That's probably possible, if Goob wanted to do it. But I dont know if the traffic would justify it at this point. Have you just tried putting your location in your f/s ad titles?
