Last week my system got jacked in my driveway. (Not the purpose of my rant however). Luckily insurance covered everything but my Ipod. They even replaced all the wiring for the amps. Now this is where my rant comes in.

The wiring kits they sent me are some cheap a$$ bottom of the barrel junk you see on Ebayissed: The 8 gauge wire kit is more like 10 gauge and the 4 gauge kit is more like 8 gauge. The RCA cables are an even bigger freakn' joke. You couldn't choke someone with the POS.

They are issuing you me a check for installation labor (which I do my own) so I'll have to use it to buy a good set of RCA's. The wiring didn't get hacked so I lucked out there.

what are you bitching for? At least you're getting reimbursement for all your stuff, including a check for install labor which if they ask for a receipt you'd be fucked. Stop looking at everything negatively and be happy with what you've got.

Never in my life have I heard of an insurance company being in the business of actually replacing goods, themselves. Doesn't make any sense. Put your foot down.

My insurance uses a special third party that only deals with car audio. You would think they would send you better quality stuff. No i didn't expect top of the line but with all the money they have made off of me for 15 years and this is my very first claim I expected a hell of a lot better.
