Is there any kind of aersole spray or tape sound deadener?

but its in an echo with tribal graphics...
FAIL
it fails to you cause you dont like the echo i do like my car which is why i drive it still. Its called being different from someone else anyone can do a install in a sports car but how often do you see them done in a echo exactly its like a Batmobile its a one of a kind.

I personally wouldn't drive one, but if you like a little car like that, the more power to you.

But I wouldn't go as far as comparing it to the Batmobile..

Wrap the trunk lid springs in foam where they touch each other and other parts. Alternatively, you can remove them and replace them with gas shocks. Sound deadener isn't going to work very well there. Liquid deadeners can work almost as well as foil faced mats, but they need to be applied at least as thickly - that means 1-2mm, several coats at least.

Whatever you want to call them, they are under tension, so be careful if you take them out - they can do a lot of damage when they unwind.

do you know how good this is compared to dynamat extreme is it the same result as far as deadening goes? that if it is it would be a big weight saver. just curious how this stacks to dynamat extreme.
Not sure on the Cascade spray. It seems a good alternative if you are just treating small areas or areas that are difficult to reach.

I've used foam weather stripping in my truck where I had panels rattling against each other. It's easy to use and easy to remove and reinstall. Using a rubber weatherstripping with a spray adhesive would work for wrapping support bars to add some mass.

The pipe insulation would help in isolating a moving part. Wrap it around the part and tape it up. I used it to keep some of my wiring off the metal edges behind the dash.

Liquids are somewhat less effective than mats with foil facings like Dynamat Xtreme - the foil is quite important. It will not save any weight because to be effective, the liquid has to be applied as thickly as a mat. At the same thickness, they weigh the same.
