A SVC sub will only have one pair of terminals, DVC will have 2, QVC will have 4, etc.

also most manufacturers state if its svc or dvc on the sub

No possible way to tell, dont listen to these fools. The only way you can tell is to call the manufacturer and have them wirelessly check the sub and verify for you.
