well they are both underated so the 1200 is doin around 1400ish and the 1500 could do close to 2000rms

Definitely between 1 and 301 watts, but not so much as you increase the wattage.

The difference between 1200 and 1500 is very small, but I say go with the greater of the two if you can afford it.
