if u live in a cold area like 50 and below during the summer do not just start up ur car and go full blast...warm them up for a few minutes on mid to low volumes...

as to temps when they fail i dont even kno what that means? they generate heat so it would have to be super freezing temps i would guess below 10f

How cold are we talkin? I know Jacob was having some trouble with his rubber surrounds in Russia cuz of the cold... But let your car warm up and everything lossen up before you start cranking it just like you do the engine and it should be fine in most cases...

Depends on the subwoofer as well. Rubber surrounds tend to become more rigid than foam. I just went through a -30 and -40 winter and nothing went haywire. Never went from -40 to full blast though.

A little frost on the amps and dust caps, but nothing too bad. When it hit -40 my normal idle voltage of 14.4 ended up at 15.2 haha. Oh, Canada...

Just use common sense and you should be fine.

Why would it be bad unless its some crazy freezing temp. Its basically more cooling to your equipment. Never had a problem in the winter at all.
