Is the Alpine PDX1000.1 good

I bought an Alpine PDX1000.1 for really cheap and I want to use it on my JL12w7 in the prowedge box. But the box says 3ohm and the amp is 2/4ohm will I have any problems.

Can someone give me an better answer. It was great with my alpines. I had it set halfway and it was LOUD. My two type R subs were dual 2ohm. This JLw7 is 3ohm. How would it affect the pdx1000 that is (2/4ohm)

Does not matter, won't hurt anything just plug it up and enjoy.

It produces the same power between 2-4 ohms so you will be good.

Its not a volume knob, read up on how to set your gains properly as you could be clipping that sub to death.
