Is taking money orders safe?

Someone might want to send me a money order for my amp. Is this safe as long as I cash it out before I ship?

Make sure its a USPS MO. And they are not really 100% safe, many of them can be counterfeited and your bank wont find out for a week, by then your amp is gone and you get fcked.

depends where ur getting it. as with any online transaction theres some risk involved. id say as long as ur not getting one from a nigerian, or someone else outside of the country youre probably alright.

ive made two transactions with MO before. one where I paid and another where they paid. both went well.

^^agreed. USPS money orders are quick and simple. Otherwise you need to wait for it to clear before sending out the item. I personally will only accept a usps money order.

if used improperly money orders can give you one hell of a paper cut, very unsafe IMO
