is one big battery the same as 2?

ok, so I see a lot about getting two batteries. It should be the same as two batteries if I add one big battery such as the kinetik 2400.. right?

Not always. Depends on what the 2 smaller ones are.

well i posted this earlier, but maybe you all can tell me what you think about this setup in a 4 door wrangler hard top. the wrangler has a 140 amp alternator.

kinetik 2400

power acoustiks 6.5 inch dvd in dash

hifonics 1600w class d mono amp

2 alpine type x wired to 1 ohm

2farad tsunami cap

300w class d amp for highs and mids(havent decided on what amp i want yet)

do you think my electrical will support this setup pretty easily, especially if i have manual locks and windows? i'm thinking with the upgraded battery i should have no problem. plus the wrangler comes with a larger alt for all the lights and winch, which i am not adding.

With the stock battery and you add the 2400 you should be fine

You don't need a cap...they are useless.

are you replace your stock batt with the hc2400 or adding it? either way i would think you would be fine. do teh big 3 and lose the cap. also in the jeep in iraq with u now or over here in the states?

it's on order, i'll get it when i get back. and I was planning on just replacing the stock battery
