From Oink's News Page
We apologise for the continuing DNS problems. You can get around this by adding our hostnames directly to your hosts file. Add the following lines to your windowssystem32driversetchosts file (the number of spaces between the IP and the name doesn't matter as long as there's at least one space (or tab):
85.17.40.69 tracker.oink.me.uk
85.17.40.70 irc.oink.me.uk
85.17.40.71 oink.me.uk
See this thread for more information.
"The thread says"
Any moderators checking in might want to add this somewhere as a Sticky or notice until this gets straightened out. I was unable to reach Oink OR the tracker using Azureus. My torrents just sat there saying "host not found" and I could not even get to the Oink site from my home computer / ISP.
For reference:
If you are running windows, there is a easy way to fix it, for now,
go to C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc, there is a file there called hosts, open it in notepad, then add:
85.17.40.71 oink.me.uk
85.17.40.69 tracker.oink.me.uk
85.17.40.70 irc.oink.me.uk
