Hello,
Pardon my ignorance; I'm a novice.
Amp = JBL GT5-A604
JBL GT5-A604 (GT5A604) 640W Max 4-Channel GT Car Amplifier
RMS Power @ 4 ohms 60 watts x 4 channels
RMS Power @ 2 ohms 80 watts x 4 channels
RMS Power @ 1 ohm Not Stable
Bridged RMS Power 160 watts x 2 channels
Components = DLS UP6i 2-Way 4 Ohm
DLS UP6i 2-Way 4 Ohm 6.5" 360W Component Speaker (pair) - Car Audio Products | dlsaudio.com
Power handling capacity: 150 W RMS
I bridged 4 channels to 2 channels to run the two components. So I have 160w RMS x2 at the amp going to 150w RMS speakers x2, correct? My amp is currently not working at all and I think it started because of a bad distribution block and/or wires (melting at the distribution block...yikes!) which I've since replaced, but I just want to make sure it doesn't have anything to do with my speaker/amp combo.
Thanks.
