is my amp or head unit blown? help please

I have a monsoon double din head unit and the stock amp(monsoon) hooked up to an aftermarket sub and amp.

All of a sudden my music stopped playing and now i cant get any sound to come out. When i hit the power button on my head unit it turns on but it makes a crackling noise. I replaced the fuse on the back of the head unit and the ones for the radio still nothing. Are there fuses inside the monsoon amp? sounds like something is grounding your amp out shorting out your speakers. try retracing your steps taking wires off the amp and things like that good luck

i have the aftermarket amp unplugged. still no audio and strange crackling.

how did you get a signal to the aftermarket amp? LOC on speaker outputs?

go back and disconnect the LOC, making sure the speaker wires aren't shorting out where you made that connection. Then test the system.
