(2) Dual 2 ohm subwoofers will allow you to wire...
either a 2 ohm load or a .5 ohm load - you're amplifier claims 1000W @ 2 ohms and it's not stable at .5 ohms, so disregard that
(2) Dual 4 ohm subwoofers will allow you to wire...
either a 4 ohm load or a 1 ohm load - don't bother trying to run your setup at 4 ohms if you can get more power out of your amplifier at a lower resistance...or you can wire to a 1 ohm load and your amplifier does 1500W @ 1 ohm.
personally i'd def go with the D4s since that amplifier might not put out rated power and then you'll know the subs will be capable of running to at least their RMS. (when hooking it up just watch the gain and if you hear the subs overworking themselves just turn it back a little bit. remember where you have your HU at so you know not to pass that either.
Subs are ordered. Two 12" Type R's Dual 4 ohm. Now i just gotta figure out the box situation. Where can i buy one with the specs i need, or how the **** do i even begin to build one with the right dimensions and tuning?
