1.I have heard kicker properly installed in action and I tell you what they may get ****ing loud but they don't hit low. Hell I was in a car with a guy who had 3 older solo-barics and they were properly installed. Don't get me wrong he was hitting pretty well but I've seen guys with just a single alpine 15 hitting better.

2.It verys, some kids have them in shitty sealed boxes and some kids have them in good ported boxes. I was in a car with a kid who had an 18" solo-baris in a ported box and plenty of power going to it and I tell you what it was nothing special.

Quite a few years ago they made CVR 18's, but this is probably before you were even in high school.

Besides, you can't base your opinions of an entire company's products off a few crappy installs. I could do a setup with one L7 8" that would surprise the shit out of you.

u must have seen a shitty setup. i saw two solox 18's do a 150 at the headrest with a shitty elec in an expedition.
