I need a new laptop, but I don't really have the money right now, and a guy I buy computer parts off of from time to time showed me this laptop he is selling, and it is practically brand new. It has a manufacture date of 2009 and it was bought in March. It is still under warranty until next march.
Its an Acer Extensa 4420-5212. He said it has a dedicated graphics card in it, but I was looking into the specs and found that it's shared. Has a dual core turion 64 x2, 3gb ram, and 250gb hdd.
It looks like new, maybe a few little tiny scratches, but works great. He is throwing in a case, lap cooling pad, speakers, wireless mouse, and bunch of software. He is asking $400 for it. Should I dip into the wedding funds (wedding is about 40 days away) and buy it?
I do alot of graphic design and web design locally so being able to take a laptop would mean I could take my work with me.
