Is it worth it? (15" L7)

Alright, so I've got a signle 15" L7 (06 model) being run off 1800 watts at 2 ohms. That's with the PA3000 amp. So maybe it's a little less. Anyway, I've got this single sub in a 5 cubic foot sealed enclosure.

Now what I'm thinking about doing is building a new face for the box, and adding another sub, to make it 2 15's running off a 1800-watt 2 ohm load in a 5 cubic sealed. I want a punchier bass than I have right now, so would this be a wise decision, or would I be better off just building a whole new box? The box I built is quite sexy, and it would be a waste to just throw it away. =(

5 cf is pretty big for one sealed so you can fit another and see what hapens, if it were me i would just build a ne box for both

i've got the same sub and IMO they're not all that 'punchy' compared to many subs, no matter the enclosure. but mines ported in 6 cubes @ 30hz so it gets real real low. if it were me i'd just put the two in like 8 ported

i'd put another L5 in (1 ohm) and make a new box around 8ft^3 after displacement if you could fit it.
