Is it the Head Unit?

I've had my system hooked up and working fine for about a year and a half now and recently it stops on me. The subs started cutting out and then I lost it all together. Now I can't get any power to the amp. No matter what I've tried I can't get it to power up. Then i lost power to one of my front 6.5s. The heat sink on the Head Unit gets real warm in a short amount of time. I've tested everything with the multimeter and I seem to be getting the right voltage everywhere. However when i test the RCAs on the HU I get no voltage. I need to figure this out. Thanks.

what kind of head unit i started having the same problem a few days a go. well i dont knwo if my gets really hot. but when i test the rca's or the remote turn on they are both getting about .01 or no voltage at all. whats up with that

I'm thinking about getting a Pioneer DEH-4700MP. Its not top end, but is and upgrade and has the features I want. Think its a worthy unit?
