Honkies are white people. The term came from a time when few black people were driving, and many whites were. Whites of the day would honk their horns and yell derogatories at pedestrians of color, thus earning the name, "Honkey".

nobody in my family or me has ever used any form of welfare. But my parents make 6 figures each so no need for it... Im going to take a guess and say that you are probably black.

yeah... if you and yours cant take care of themselves, then I really dont care. I think welfare is a joke and should be abolished. It just promotes laziness.

Blaming the poor for middle class troubles is exactly what the rich would like us to do. The biggest welfare cases in The U.S. are GM,GE, Raytheon, Mcdonnell Douglas, Boeing, J.P. Morgan/Chase, ........ the list goes on.

I dont think that any companies should have bailed out, that was a joke. Im all for as little as possible government involvement.

I dont think that any companies should have bailed out, that was a joke. Im all for as little as possible government involvement.

These aren't bailouts, this is business as usual, every year for decades. The bailouts were another matter altogether.

I kinda feel you, but the number one consumer is single mothers that the dads douched bagged out, thats a two sided coin, thats why i'm glad that it got the 4yr time limit now.... kinda prevents the laziness factor and helps those that need temp. help and their gonna take the money out regardless.... and most the people on welfare paid into the fund themselves as well..... not everybody is brought into this world with rich parents and a silver spoon.... see if you take away welfare those that were on it..... will take care of themselves the only way they know how after that and that means robbing and stealing from the rich white folks....

if you are implying that I was born with a silver spoon... you are completely wrong. Both of my parents busted their a$$es when I was growing up. And because of that they are both wealthy now. And you know what else is funny? I dont ask them for anything. They helped me with my first two months rent and that was it. They instilled the fact in me that hard work pays off. Something that only a very few people actually seem to know.
