Is it pronounced "Fee" or "Fie"?

only to get no help and be told to buy an expensive recone without them asking any questions or anything...
For any company, the first place to get an idea how the process works is their RMA page.

Fi's is very standard as far as speaker manufacturers go - just be glad you can even get a recone. For most high-end speaker manufacturers, anything short of a manufacturing defect (which will be very easy to spot when it's returned) means you're buying a completely new speaker, if one is even available.
