I have a Pioneer DEH-5900IB head unit and i listen to my ipod through a FM transmitter because i dont have the ipod cable for it yet but my question is, is there a way to have it voice activated so i can be like play song down with the sickness by disturbed and it will play that song? I'm guessin its possible somehow but i dont really know....

Ford's Sync setup was developed by Microsoft. You likely have seen the voice activation demonstrated in commercials. My guess is that Apple will take another year or two to come up with a system, then sell it as an automotive accessory through GM. Chrysler, Toyota or some other manufacturer. Around that same time I'd look for Apple to work with Alpine as they have in the past to get voice activation going.

However if someone does have something in the works, hopefully another poster will come along to enlighten us!
