Is It Possible?

Well cdt makes great car speakers. Why wouldn't i be able to use their speakers if i am going to use a car subwoofer? Wouldn't a plate amp work for those too? I am pretty sure i can use them.
Yes, their auto products are good, but the environment in a door is much different than at home...the enclosure alignments are different. You really should go with dedicated home speakers - good ones can be had from $30 to $70 each if you go the DIY route.

And no, you probably won't want to use the plate amps for the main channel speakers.

http://www.creativesound.ca stocks the CSS FR125 4.5" full range driver, for $70 each.

Madisound has a very good selection of Fostex drivers, from about $30 and going up from there. Those are extremely efficient, but require the use of an external subwoofer and need special cabinets to work their best.

Parts Express has several Tang Band full range drivers for very good prices.
