Yes, their auto products are good, but the environment in a door is much different than at home...the enclosure alignments are different. You really should go with dedicated home speakers - good ones can be had from $30 to $70 each if you go the DIY route.Well cdt makes great car speakers. Why wouldn't i be able to use their speakers if i am going to use a car subwoofer? Wouldn't a plate amp work for those too? I am pretty sure i can use them.
And no, you probably won't want to use the plate amps for the main channel speakers.
