Ok I have 2 PG 15's in my trunk and I never upgraded the front end.

I need clear sound, nothing extremelly harsh and I really could care less about midbass response.

My goal, crystal clear highs and mids. My component choices:

Diamond Audio D352

MB Quart RCE213 Reference

Boston Acoustics S50

I'm trying to stay below the $100 range here. I know, if I spend a little more on this or that... but right now my focus is more on the styling of the car not the best component set money can buy.

I have heard MB Quarts. They were clear sounding but I don't know the model or the price range. The rest I haven't heard so I'm hoping some of you with experience can chime in.

The Phoenix Gold RSd65cs comps can be found on ebay for $90 shipped. Very good budget comp set! Do some searching on here for them, you'll see many favorable reviews of them.

His choices all look like 5.25 component sets, so look at the Phoenix Gold RSd 5cs

Everything mentioned here are really bottom of the line sets. I would go for the C4 Audio components on ebay.
