is it possible to make a ported box?

well! at this time i'm going to make a seald box for my two JL 12w6v2 ... my amp is a jl 1000/1 .

but in case i could, i would like better make a ported box (tune to 32.2hz) !

so maximum dimensions in my trunk to make it are:

29,5in (width) X 14,2in (Height) X 18in (depth)

yes its possible, that would give you about 3.5 cubes before port and woofer displacement.

what kind of air space does your woofer need in a ported box?

jl audio give 1.50 cu. ft./each sub after displacements... hope will help you

Go sealed. Your ported box will not be big enough. You are at 3.3 cubes before displacements. After displacements you will be well below 3 cubes.
