or actually listen to his freshman LP and tell me it isn't good front to back

I probobly listen to more rap than just about anyone on this site.

His freshman LP was good. That doesn't mean that he is a good mc. He has a good lyrics but his flow is horrible. I even like his new CD. But, that doesn't make him a good rapper.

Common's cd is great. And he produced it.

He's a far better producer than MC.

Radio rap is so god awful, and I hear it ALL the d*mn time. Shit drives me insane.

What makes me sick is how much these asshat "rappers" are making off complete garbage. The ONLY reason I listen to some rap/hip-hop is for the bass. There are some artists that I can tolerate and actually really get in to, but all the shitty ones I hear on the radio need to board a plane and crash it straight into a nitroglycerine plant.

If I really want to rock out to music, I'll pop in some tool, pantera, zeppelin, sabbath, etc. REAL artists. Not people who steal beats from 1950's songs because they can't come up with anything themselves.
