I'm very fond of rap, but lately the lyrics and some of the beats are awful. I knew it was goin' to get even worse once Three 6 Mafia came out with Poppin' My Collar and Gotta Stay High. If it weren't for some of the dirty south mixtapes, I'd totally stop listening to the new shit. Hell, my music collection got deleted so I'm buying a whole bunch of CDs, and downloading some of the songs that I had. I've only downloaded rock 'cause of the crap lately...

I like Kanye....

His music broke at a good time for me. I was in college and felt there weren't any good jobs after I graduated...so it hit at a good time.

Now that I have a good job, his music is less relevant...but I still like it compared to most.

A good friend of mine has that Ay Bay Bay song on his phone because his son likes it. I am thinking of quit calling him until he changes it.
