is it legal to???

Unless you are walling a completely stock ride I'm pretty sure you have some other mods to your car that are not legal. You should always ceck local laws if that concearned but Basswiigee is corect. The only other thing I can think of concerning this would be any roll down window in passenger compartment cant be too dark or obstructed. But in a 2 door or a truck any thing behind driver can be blacked out completely so should be ok. It is amazing though of some of the **** that is not legal but most interior mods are ok.

yeah the laws trip me out, did you know you can't pull out into middle lane to merge, it's illegal you can only use that lane to turn.... lol Only know about the side mirrors cuz I can't get my rearview to stay on....

Well i have a 4 door car. I have already taken the back seats out n if i make it into a huge box back there idk if it will be illegal or not. Maybe just stroll into the cop shop n ask?

I'm pretty sure you have to have all mirrors attached and in place, but you only need to be able to actually see behind you on the outside mirrors. For example, the way my dads RV is designed, you can't see all the way back through the rear window because the bathroom is in the way. The rear view mirror is still there, you just can't see all the way back.

The laws will vary state to state. Check with your DMV or look it up on your state's DMV site. Most cops are just about clueless. I have been pulled over for having no bumpers, but it is not a requirement on the list of required equipment. The cop was from out of state.

There are some crazy laws out there...

I was always afraid of doing a wall, just bc of the rear view mirror being useless. But as of a year now, both me and my fiancés vehicle have no rearview mirrors and it isn't as bad as I thought. Keep the side mirrors, otherwise I would go ahead and wall it.
