i'm just saying...its a fad that will die soon...just like hydralics, and tons of other gay fads. No matter what it is, someone is going to think its gay.

So no matter how many people don't like it, there are people who insist on pushing the limits....yes i think 26"s on box chevys looks fukking stupid too, but i'm not gonna talk shit about it. Hell, i love G-bodys, but i was told the other day that cutlass's and regals are ugly pieces of crap.

Huge rims are are just another way of modifying your car. Its not anymore rediculous than those of us driving around with 16,000 watt stereos or 700HP cars.

Its just another way of doing things.

And its not because you're broke. You should see some of the cars around here. Easily 50,000 into the car. Ive seen Impala SSs on 30s with a huge supercharged big block, huge shot of NOS, pushin 800HP to the wheels. 4 15s in the trunk, 2,000rms a piece doin 150s. Everything fiberglass, vinyl, and plexi. Expensive TVs everywhere, etc. When its just a POS 82 Cutlass with some 24s, yeah its stupid as hell....

But when its got so much money, time, and effort into it, its just a flat out head turning show stopper.

Yeah, everyone likes different things, and I HATED it at first. Then I started going to alot of shows with them and they just really grew on me. I really like some of em now.

I think anything that doesn't improve the performance of the car is worthless. I pretty much mean performance in the sense of safety. Now, if I'm upgrading my rims to increase the handling of my car, I'll go ahead and dish out the extra hundred or so for a nice looking set. But I see no point in fixing what's not broken.

I'm not dissing people who work on their car though. To each his own. I'm sure a lot of people don't understand why I spend tons of money on my audio.
