Is it IA or Sundown that is coming out with new amps?

Just a rundown on the Sundown...

SAE-1000D is already out, or at least, almost out, I think preorder is already done. They are a lower line than the SAZ therefore it isn't overbuilt. It is rated at and puts out 1000 watts.

The SAZ-3000D is in proto phase? and puts out about as much as 2 1500Ds I believe.

They are also releasing two more budget line multi-channel amps, SAE series 2 and 4 channel I believe. Don't know much about those, they are cheaper than the current SAX 100.4 and 100.2 though.

I'm not an expert though, wait for sundownz or something to pipe up.

Even though I absolutely love my SX900.4, I'm thinking about getting an SAX-100.4 just so I can have all Sundowns. That SAX-250.2 sounds great also, it's just a little less power than I would like for my future 3-way comps though.

The SAE-1000D had a pre-order that just recently ended. As it looks right now those will be available very soon, with pre-orders hopefully shipping by the end of next week if there are no more delays in transit.

The SAZ-3000D has already started production so I expect them in 2 months or so. The first batch will be relatively small and they are going to go fast, so those will be out of stock for a bit after the first round. These won't see a pre-sale due to the huge demand from Team Sundown... but when the second batch comes in I will run an authorized intro sale through my dealers.

Next up will be the "E Series" woofers that I am working on with Stereo Integrity. They are an entry level woofer with an MSRP of around $140 or so and will be available in 12" and 10" sized to being with, with a 15" size coming when it's ready. These are predominantly geared towards lower budget SQ minded folks, but do quite well as far as SPL.

Plans afterwards look to be as follows:

SAE-50.4

SAE-75.2

SAX-250.2

Nightshade 12" and 15"

Most likely in that order but there is no concrete ETA for those products other than, "as soon as possible!" The Nightshade woofers won't be out until I am satisfied... we tore up the prototype 15" with 10kw so I wasn't pleased with it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif A modified prototype in a 12" size is due shortly and should withstand 10kw without issue -- but I do want these to be listenable, which the previous 15" model was, so tweaking could be in order still yet.
