im planning on getting 1 12"l7, box built to specs@3.25 c^ft tuned to probally 35hz running a kicker 750.1. Before i had 2 PA fubr's in sealed boxes running a PA gothic series amp rated at 820w.

am i gonna see a big inprovement or no? cause im thinking that the l7 is gonna blow them both away.

You'll deffinately hear a dramatic difference in sound quality, the FUBR's sound like crap but can actually get pretty loud, however im guessing the L7 should about compete with the FUBR in loudness and surpass it as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Never heard the Fubr's but I know my 2 PA Mofo's will walk all over a single L7 for straight loudness. Even two L7's with the "average" install. But your SQ might be bumped up a little with the Kicker. Why just 1 L7? And why not a 15?

From my expierence and hearing some around town the FUBR's get really loud like the mofos and sound like ***, however he is also going from 800 watts divided by 2 subs (if it was even 800 watts RMS at whatever ohms going to those) to 750 to one (once again if wired correctly). I still say the sound quality will get way way better and the 1 12" L7 should at least match the output of 2 FUBR's if installed correctly and with the right box.

i dont have the room for a 15, cause this is going in a sentra lol. i probally could do 2 tens, but thatd be pushing it space wise, and if i did those id probally get a PA d1800b amp for it.

I'm running the same setup that you're asking about, except my box is too small and tuned to 32hz.It gets pretty loud for the price.Not great in the SQ department, but I have heard MUCH worse. BTW, the zx750.1 usually puts out closer to 900w than 750w and is a solid amp.

The amp you had before is probably overrated and the zx is definitely underrated so... more power and the 06 L7 gets very very loud and will definitely sound better than the furbs and you were running a sealed setup... ported should definitely be louder.

im leaning towards 2 tens now, with a 600.1 going to each one. i wanna do a box something like or would i be better off doing one zx1000?

you think i can get 4.5cuft out of that?
