is it easy to Dynamat a car?

I don't know about putting in the stuff, but as the other guys will tell you, with Dynamat you are paying for the name. Look into second skin, fatmat, brown bread, and other cheaper (and just as good) alternatives to dynamat.

ah, thread crapping, what a beautiful thing.

applying sound deadening to a car isnt hard in my opinion, its just time consuming. get to the bare metal, clean the surface (with like alcohol), possibly heat the surface a bit with a heatgun or hair dryer, and then apply the deadener, and finally use a roller and roll over the deadener to ensure its pressed in and stuck.

like i said, time consuming, but the stuff definately works.

very easy

very tedious

very rewarding

big pain in the butt

regardless of what material you use, use a heat gun.

Prep the surface very well with paint thinner, ace tone, or some residue free solvent.

get a few wooden roller, ( stay away from the cheap plastic ones)

Get a few blades.

it will take a while, and you will cut your hands up pretty good, but the end result will be worth. IT is easy to do, just a pain
