hey guys.. can anyone tell me if my amp is completely garbage or even worth fixable?? it is a kicker zx650.4, what happened was i had box in my trunk that was moved somehow and turned the gain on my subwoofer channel to maximum.. i started to smell burning plastic but didnt think anything off it and thought maybe it was coming from outside or I somehow burnt a bit of clutch.. music went out and then i pulled over to check amp.. so now my amp wont even power up, no lights nothing. I checked all the fuses and they were fine.. if it is completely toast can anyone tell me if i had the proper fuse ratings at the main battery hookup would this have prevented this? or nothing i could of done if the gain was moved to max?

my guess would be unhook w/e it is powering and see if it works..

check your inline fuse holder up front ya?

ya disconnected everything.. nothing working no lights.. still stinks like burning plastic.. and the fuse at the main battery is still fine.. i guess its toast.. prob not even worth fixing..
