Okay, I'm here at college. Buddy of mine calls me to ask me if he can borrow one of my amps i have at home, i say sure. He borrows my Alpine MRP-f250, little 4ch amp.

I get a call later on, he put the power and ground in backwards...poof...

Sssoo, the question is, do you guys think this is toast, or would it have popped some of the amps fuses? I've never done this before, so im not sure what exactly may have happened to the amp.

its f'n toasted....but i happen to have an almost brand new one for 80 shipped....tell your buddy to cough it up and you'll have a brand new amp

im not that worried about it. its been sitting in my garage for a year collecting dust, was just curious if i may be able to salvage it hehe.

Lol, I did that to my RD amp a few times, just kept popping fuses. Check the fuses on it.
