Is it a bad idea to buy a 2011 model when 2012 models just came out Pioneer dvd units

I want to get the avh 3300bt from pioneer I can get it for 300 new or should I get a newer 2012 model, I have no idea what the differences are and don't want to make the wrong choice, since this will be my first stero purchase, Please help also do these units allow for a 4 channel am and a mono amp sub install.

If you google each model you can see what the differences are. If those differences seem important to you, get the new one. If they don't, save some money.

If after looking at the specs, there is something you don't understand, come back and ask about that particular thing.

i went to pioneers site and googled the hell out of these models been looking at em for about 5 hours straight havent sleeped yet cause i need to order all my parts today and all I can see is design differences but that can't be all so if someone can help that would be great thank u

Well what 2012 model are u looking at?? The avh 3300bt is a nice unit.. My HU was Manf is 2007 so newer does not always mean better....

If the 2012 model is the avh-p3400 then the 3300bt is a much better HU..

Actually i was looking at the 2400 bt for 2012 and yea the 3300bt for 2011 what makes it better

Where can you get the 3300 for $300.

The big difference that I see is that the 3400 will stream audio via BT. The 3300 has a sd slot and 4v RCAs.

my shop is has the 2400, 3400, and 4400 in stock and they seem to be much improved from last years model but we've only sold 4 2400s and 2 4400s so far. the **** brands sold out first tax week so every has to buy pioneer or at least sony till we get the cheap crap in
