Is audison sr4 good amp?

I can pick this up for 250, will it do a good job with sq and bass? My components are 110 rms each geared towards spl since I decided not to get a sub. Hertz mlk165. Will this amp produce good bass as well as sq?

The amp will do whatever it's told to do.

Those speakers are not geared toward SPL. Far from it

Yes it's a good amp but not very powerful.

If you want bass get a sub

Actually those speakers are geared toward cars with no subs and produce low frequency. I need to know if this amp will do better than say a ppi amp for same price. I already have 3 rockford amps that will give me over 150 rms.

If you have the rockfords use them. An amp does what the signal being fed into it tells it to do. No amp should give or take away low end.

What about clarity? Will the audison give better clarity?

If you have 150 rms vs 45 rms go with the 150

Those are the same level speakers as mine with a minor increase in output.

No they will not replace a sub. Whoever told you that is fooling you.

I had an sr4...has no balls at all. It was only minimally louder than deck power (prs80) and imo isnt worth 250. I paid 150 for mine and sold it around that

id do a stronger rf over it in a heartbeat
