Is amp toooo powerful?

I am thinking about getting the pioneer premier prs-d5000spl amp. Right now i have 2 sony xplode 15" subs rated @ 450/1500 each will the amp be way too powerful for these subs?

P.S. I am going to sell the subs to someone in a few months and i am getting a pioneer premier ts-w3004spl sub 1000/3000 for that amp.

well i have had them in the house for some ghetto bass and they suprisingly hit pretty good, now nothing compared to jl, pioneer, or alpines. But for some decent bass in the house the do hit, a little boomy at times though.

But in a way i dont want to blow them cause i can get $300 in about a month or two.
