Is a Sundown SAZ-1000d enough for a RE SE 15 D4 ?

Now I am so confused... should I keep or sell my SAZ-1000d to get the SAE-1200 v.2 amp?
the saz1000 will put out around 1200 at a true 1 ohm load

the sae1200d will put out around 1500 at a true 1 ohm load

If you decide to run the amps under a 1 ohm load, stick with the 1000d, if you plan on staying around 1 ohm or over stick with the 1200d. Also another thing to consider is the build quality. The saz line is made in Korea which is known for having higher build quality standards. The sae is made in china and tends to have not as good of a build quality. I think the saz line also has some internal "beefing up" compared to the sae line which makes them more durable, etc. The saz line also has it's own specific boards different from any other company. the sae line i believe is not like this.

Im in the same boat you are..I have 2 15" RE SE's and i just sold my AQ1200d to purchase the new sae 1200 v.2. I have a feeling its gonna put out some good clean power. Id go with either the sae 1200 or the saz 1500

another thing to consider about sundown amps, jacob rates his amps on an inductive load, not a resistive load, which almost all other companies do. This means you will actually be seeing around 1000 watts out of the 1000d. This also means that sundown amps are really really underrated compared to most companies amps that test using resistive loads.
