Is a ported box better for larger spaces?????

Usually if you are underpowering your subs you go ported to increase the output. If you want deep bass, just tune in the low 30s

 
You are better off paying someone for a design.

Seems like you have quite a bit to learn about enclosures, so obtaining a design and doing a bit of research to understand what/where/why will help you out a lot.

 
im runnin my sub below rms ....i plan on putting the box in a space about twice the size of a suv.Would a sealed or ported box perform(deep bass) better??? any info would be helpful
that is a huge box. are you saying the box is going to be bigger then 2 suvs? or are you putting this in a semi trailer?
