Is a Capacitor worth it?

Well I already have a weak one (1F) does this help at all when my subs are drawing 1000watts? Or do I need a bigger one? Are they a waste of money or worth it? The audio store can sell me (Before they give me my discount) a battery with 15F Cap on it for $350 is that a good deal?

Also whats the best type of wiring should I use? Or will I not notice the difference?

a battery cannt charge/discharge very fast so if ur running a high powered system (more than 500w) the battery limits the current ur amp can pull so the sound distorts as a lower volume than if u had a cap as well as caps can charge/discharge very fast

after the bass hits one time its discharged therefor useless, its a bandaid for a weak electrical, fix up your electrical like already stated

sell the cap and buy a battery, buy enough 1/0 for big 3 and one run of positive to the rear and you should have no problems
^^

I'm sure some of the guys with huge systems need all the fancy parts, but with a 130amp alternator in my old car a Big3 upgrade and a Yellow Top were enough for a system running about ~1600 RMS with absolutely no dimming.

a cap still takes the current spikes away from the batteryplaying normal music the cap charges between the bass notes

unless u run constant tones at high levels or maybe listen to DUB music then the cap WILL recharge
O RLY?

Why don't you do some actually research with out repeating words for word what your homie/ idiot quality auto sound installer said
