is 1 12" magnum good enough

It is all in the install. You do a good instal and it will sound SWEAT but if you do a bad install it will sound horiable. Install is everything EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!(well not everything but i think you know what i mean)

The Magnum will do just fine. If you want a good amount of output while still maintaining excellent SQ, 2.2cubic feet tuned to 25 is just awesome. Louder? Tune to 30hz or 35hz instead.
