Iraggi ALT's???

I have a person selling a HO ALT for my truck 2001 F-150 5.4L truck. Its a used alternator does 120amps at 800rpm at idle and 300 amps at 2000rpms, he said it was setup for spl competition RPM area. Said he paid 600 for it?? Is that what they go for and whats a good price for it to offer used?

How doe these alts perform compared to mechman, powermaster and DC power and others. If you have a iraggi alt please chime in.

lol U can get a fad alternator that does 160amps at idle and 260 amps around 1500rpm for $499....tell him to kiss your *** lol

Oh, but to answer the rest of your question, have him take it to Autozone with you to have it tested.

Also, Iraggi alts are good. But if he's charging you more than 300 for it, i say F it.

You can get a new Alt from Dc Power that does more @ idle and is new with a warranty for about the same price.
