iraggi alternators

i need to know if they are good or not..... im thinking about buyin a H/O

only 2 companys have then iraggi and DC

DC makes a 250amp one for 480$$$

iraggi makes a 300amp one for 530$$$ 2 year warranty

i have a vue with the 2.2L

what one will last longer

I know of 3 people personally that run Iraggi alts and have never had a problem with them.

I bought an Iraggi alternator once. I waited 2 months without ever getting an alt in my hands and got my money back.

Edit: now that I think of what I just typed it reminds me of the old saying: Make a customer happy and they'll tell a friend. Make a customer unhappy and they'll tell the whole world.

My Iraggi lasted about 3 months. I have run DC for well over a year on a daily driver and have had NO problems.

Iraggi sucks, stay away from them. I went through about four of them in a matter of a few months (each lasted only a couple days, took a few weeks to exchange them, they also put out really shitty power). Went with an Ohio Generator and I have had no issues in the few years I have been running it now.

FYI, the "250A" I got from them maxed at just over 160A IIRC and at idle was under 90A.

I have ran an Iraggi 220 amp for 2 years now and it has treated me great. Dom has also treated me well when I've had questions about the charging system all together. I'm actually upgrading to three Iraggi alternators here shortly and after I made the order Dom called me to help talk me through some stuff that was going on in my truck and the process of installing the three alternators as well. IMO they are great alternators and he has good customer service. Some people will probably argue this but this is just my personal experience.
