probably correct. however it was just a redirect link(to that site) to inform you, meade profits nothing. i hope that makes sense. if it violates terms of use then i have no problems with a moderator deleting the thread.

I havent reported it or anything or intended to, I would think that its unfair to other alternator companies if they dont get the same opportunity to post similar threads. And if that started happening, next would be sub companies....then so on then so on. I was seriously thinking of getting in on this group buy but you guys got me scared so I'm just going to wait til income tax time and buy from a company I can trust like Mean Green. Good idea?

well I guess it boils down to this. The company isnt advertising it directly, nor did they "hire" us to advertise. its more of "hey i found a great deal and i thought i should let you know kind of thread" I just posted it kinda in a way of advertising(by accident), but i just wanted to get all the info out there so there wasnt any more questions regarding more information. you feel me?

It is up to you to make that decision not us. No matter which company you will go to there will be mixed reviews. Iraggi has plenty of good references too that just arent posted, seems like only when there is trouble it is posted. Same goes with EA. Mean Green is a great company from reading around, if you can afford it go for it nobody is going to stop you. you roll the dice and see.

I think i'll be reiterating what someone else said, but all companies have problems, it seems hit and miss with all of them. But some have apparently better customer support than others to boot.

Oh geez, I knew somebody would jump all over me for saying the "C" word, yes I know what a capacitor is, and does, or claims to do as so many argue. So now lets please not turn this thread into a capacitor debate and move on.

thats fine i thought you didnt know. I just wanted to make clear a capacitor cannot produce current such as a battery or alternator can do.

I dont remember, that was a long time ago. I would need to do some research to see what was wrong with your alternator

I dont think so. You told me you live on highly salted roads. I was like whatever. You probably had it on there since day one.

so yeah, i was sold something that wouldnt perform, wouldnt last, and was so costly due to install/uninstall over and over, so i feel like i got screwed. and unfortunatly for you, im not going to let it die because until you step up and do the right thing im going to try to keep anyone else from getting screwed too.

What is the right thing? You want a new alternator? You want me to repair the one you have now? What is it? What do you need to satisfy Hollis Taylor?

and im not the only one on this forumn with that oppinion, i might be the most vocal, but i dont stand alone.

i dont live on salted roads... i live in charlotte, nc where the roads are salted at most 3-4 times a year. you sold me a BRAND NEW ALT, not a rewind of my alts chasis, explain how it could have been on there since day one?

i have told you time and time again what you need to do to satisfy me. why would i want another alternator that is going to underperform and fail? why would i want you to repair it when i have already been forced to purchase another one that actually works? and not to mention that i dont even have that vehicle anymore. the only thing i have left from it is a POS alternator that i dont even know if it works, because i was **** sure not going to waste any more time or money to install it again and have it fail.

if you want to satisfy hollis taylor, do what i requested after the first or second time the alternator failed... also follow up with your promises (again, the large case GM that was promised and never delivered), dont sell a product that wont do what you claim, and sell a quality product.

you sold a bad alt to the wrong person, and believe me, im not going away any time soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . i was ripped off and im still not happy about it.

and back to the first part, i did NOT recieve a quality product... i recieved a piece of crap that put out about 10-15 amps more than my stock ford alt, and was about 10-15% as reliable as the stock ford alt was... i wish i had done a bit more research before letting myself get suckered into buying from you, and i wish there had been some one as vocal as i am to express what kind of person you truly are.

and while youre at it dom, why dont you defend your business ethic about communication. your communication was impeccable, up until you recieved my money. after that, it was a god **** miracle to get a hold of you...
